Purcell Heli Skiing

    Golden, British Columbia

Purcell was founded in 1974 by Swiss mountain guide, Rudi Gertsch. For the last 43 years, they’ve committed to remaining a small, family-owned operation, now lead by Rudi’s son Jeff (ACMG Certified Ski Guide) and his wife Katie. They’re driven by a commitment to the guiding profession and the life-changing joy of deep powder.

With a massive operating area of 2,000 square kilometers, Purcell offers skiers and riders endless fresh tracks and a variety of runs: from high, open alpine faces to those world-famous BC deep trees. They only take two groups per day into their backcountry backyard, and deliver on customer care with in-the-field group customization, with multiple guides per group. Each day is built around safety and an outstanding client experience.

Purcell is easy to access, with a day lodge and helipad right in the town of Golden, so you can fly for a single day or several – whatever your budget or your legs allow.
