Baselayers work as your second skin, maintaining a dry layer next to your body. When doing high-energy activities, too much sweat can be your worst enemy. That’s why our baselayers are engineered using the unique Lifa® Stay Dry Technology. When exposed to moisture, the Lifa® fibers immediately move it away from your skin, allowing the moisture to evaporate into the air or onto the next layer. Lifa® is also 40% lighter and 60% warmer than polyester. And nothing will keep you drier.
The point of this layer is to keep your body at an optimal temperature. Warm. But not too warm. When your activity level-height level rises, you need your mid layer to regulate your temperature by moving moisture away from your body. Because in order to keep warm, you have to stay dry.
We offer a wide range of different types of mid layers that make functional sense when layering up for all types of conditions. Featuring technologies like Pro Stretch®, for high movement activities and Primaloft® for sub-zero conditions. We also work with down and Polartech® to ensure you harness your heat in any conditions.
Whatever nature throws your way, the outer layer is what you depend on to stay dry from the outside, and comfortable on the inside. We use Helly Tech® waterproof and breathable fabrics in most of our outer layer products. Sometimes, we combine Helly Tech® with other technologies to keep you dry and warm. Depending on your activity, there are three Helly Tech® Technologies to choose from.
To stay confident in the outdoors, you need to be protected from head to toe. That’s why Helly Hansen offers a unique range of functional footwear specifically designed to keep your feet comfortable in all conditions. Our technical footwear can be divided into three categories – Sailing, Trail and Winter – each one featuring different technologies to deliver performance. Including: Helly Grip™ and Ultra Storm Grip™ in the outsole, C-Zone™ & C-Zone+™ in the midsole, and Helly Tech® in the uppers.
