About the membership

We want to make the Helly Hansen Professional program the best in the industry. For that to happen we need everything to run smoothly. Here are some guidelines:

Membership

Your membership is valid for one year. At the end of every year you will receive a reminder to reapply.

The opportunity to purchase Helly Hansen Professionalducts at a reduced price is a privilege offered to professionals in defined fields. It is understood that the equipment is to be used by the member and that the prices are confidential. It is also understood that prices and assortment are subject to change, and any abuse of the program will result in termination of the program for the purchaser.

Reviews

To ensure that we constantly improve, we rely on the feedback, ideas and comments from our professionals. By being a member of the Helly Hansen Professional program you are expected to deliver reviews on the gear you buy. These reviews will be used on our publicly available website, but the main purpose is to help us make improvements. Our idea is to come up with gear and clothes that lets you stay outside for longer stretches, in more difficult conditions, with less distraction and discomfort. You can leave your reviews on the product pages on our webshop.

Login credentials

Your login will remain the same throughout the membership period; however it is subject to change if abuse is suspected.

Address or status changes:
It is understood that if circumstances who affects the membership and/or program change, the member must give notice to Helly Hansen. This could include job-change, new e-mail address or retiring

Discretion

To ensure the integrity of this program and to continue membership in the Helly Hansen Professional program please comply with the following:

  • Call Helly Hansen customer service if you have questions about sizing or other product information
  • Do not refer to the Helly Hansen Professional program in any store that carries our products
  • Know who carries Helly Hansen Professionalducts in your area. Should your friends or clients ask about your gear please refer them to that store - or our public website.

Application guidelines

The application must be completed correctly to ensure no unnecessary delays.

Personal information
This includes information on name, address and contact info. All fields are mandatory.

Club/Organization
If you’re a member of a club/organization and you practice/exercise your activities on their behalf, these fields are mandatory.
We accept individual athletes and professionals as well, and if that’s the case these fields can be skipped.

Category
Please define your which category you belong to. If you feel that more than one category defines your activity please fill out the ones that fit the most.

Upload resume
Your resume should consist of (where applicable):

  • History
  • level/classification
  • relevant finishes (race date and classes competed in)
  • Sponsors
  • Media coverage

The resume must be uploaded in a readable format (MS Word, PDF or OpenOffice). This is not a mandatory field, but very helpful in our internal processes.

Upload payslip or proof of association
If you are a mountain guide, ski instructor of otherwise employed you must upload your most recent payslip or a proof of association.
