Helly Hansen’s HH® Dry™ Revolution Transforms HH Baselayer Technology
OSLO, Norway (Fall/Winter 2011-12) — Helly Hansen invented the world’s first technical baselayer in 1970 with the introduction of its LIFA® Stay Dry Technology. Featuring the world’s driest fibers, LIFA® spawned an industry that’s essential for outdoor professionals and adventurers in all seasons.
Helly does it again in 2011 with the launch of HH® Dry™ Revolution made with new LIFA® fibers that are softer, more comfortable and more efficient at keeping the skin drier for longer durations. Unlike polyester alternatives, the HH® Dry™ Revolution jersey and pants don’t absorb moisture but rather pull excess sweat away from the skin and move it to the exterior so the skin stays notably more comfortable during high-intensity activities. The soft and stretchy collection is enhanced with seamless construction that works in concert with the body during training routines and backcountry adventures.
Baselayer Features:
- Soft and stretchy LIFA® Stay Dry Technology
- Seamless chafe-free construction
- Non-pilling
- 40 percent lighter than polyester
- 60 percent better insulating properties than polyester
- 100 percent itch free
