Ask&Embla ski jacket and pant

Helly Hansen’s Ask & Embla Ski Jackets and Pants Partner Hardwearing Technology with the World’s Most Luxurious Fabrics

OSLO, Norway (Fall/Winter 2011-12) — Helly Hansen awakens one’s senses this winter with its luxurious Ask and Embla designs inspired by Scandinavia’s mystical slate-colored skies and famed fjords.

Old Norse myth tells us that the god Odin and his brothers created the first man and woman, Ask and Embla, from two wooden logs that washed ashore. And like Norway’s first two humans, the Ask & Embla collection is sprung from nature’s haunting beauty and the world’s most technologically advanced designs.

Helly, for the first time ever, incorporates cutting-edge ski apparel technology with its most stylish silhouettes and luxurious fabrics. The ski jackets are the epitome of exclusive, high-end resort fashion and feature the most advanced waterproof breathable technologies and professional three-layer, four-way stretch fabrics.

Designed for fashionistas and inspired by Helly Hansen’s rich Scandinavian history, the Ask & Embla Ski Jackets bring an entirely new, luxury look and performance level to resort shoppers. The beautifully designed Embla jacket features Pittards leather on the shoulders, cashmere wrist gaiters and balaclava, and a slim, feminine silhouette.
