OSLO, Norway (April 17, 2013) — Helly Hansen’s H2 Flow Jacket continues to receive recognition for its innovative, patent-pending temperature regulating technology and its clean, progressive design. The latest acknowledgement is one of Scandinavia’s most prestigious design award: the Award for Design Excellence by the Norwegian Design Council.

The acclaimed award follows on the heels of the esteemed 2012 GOOD DESIGN™ award, which was granted by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, in January 2013.

Warmer, Cooler, Lighter: H2FLOW™ is a groundbreaking design that combines an insulation layer, an airflow venting system, and a protective barrier. It allows adventurers to regulate their body temperature in a wider variety of conditions, activities, and climates.

In Fall/Winter 2013-14, Helly Hansen will expand its H2FLOW™ construction into multiple mid layers, sportswear parkas, and technical ski jacket designs.
