Helly Hansen

The Expert Regatta was the first event borne from the new partnership between Helly Hansen and Fraglia Vela Riva del Garda. This is one of the most important sailing club in the North Italy and the best of Garda Lake. In this regatta more than 300 sailing boats came from 47 different countries and they raced in the last weekend to selected themselves for the Olympic Games. The best Italian crews competed in different classes: Zandonà-Trani in the male 470, Conti-Micol in the female 470 and Sibello brothers in the very fast 49er. Helly Hansen made a gift to each sailors and each member of race committee and his flags waves on the tower of Fraglia. Now the partnership will go on with the sponsorship of Fraglia Vela Sailing Team, 45 guys and children more their 5 coaches that race in different classes: Optimist, Laser, 29er, 49er and Finn. Then Helly Hansen will be present year-round by his logo on the bows of 23 Fraglia rubber dinghies and on the sails of two j80 that Fraglia Vela use to make sailing school and incentive activities.
