Beginning May 4, 2010 visit www.hellyhansen.com/hydropowerchallenge and follow the on-screen instructions to register and submit an entry into the Sweepstakes. Entries must be received by noon (GMT+1) on July 1st, 2010. Only one entry per team will be allowed.
This promotion is open only to anyone 10 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Helly Hansen AS and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and internet agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.
One prize winner will be selected by us on July 7th, 2010 from among all eligible entries received by noon on July 1st, 2010. Selecting a winning photo and motivation will be conducted by Helly Hansen AS whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this offer. Winner will be notified by e-mail and will be listed on www.hellyhansen.com. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, an alternate entrant will be selected in his or her place.
One winner will receive a set of Hydropower products for the boats crew. Prizes consist of only the items specifically listed as part of the prize. Prizes will be sent only once. It is not possible to return prizes for different sizes after the shipment has been sent. If prize is not available in the chosen size or colour, a substitue prize of equal or greater value will be set available to choose from.
No substitution or transfer of prize by winner permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. All taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. By accepting prize, winner (or parent/legal guardian if winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) agrees to hold Sponsor, Helly Hansen AS, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners' names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Helly Hansen AS, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all liability and damages. By participating in this promotion, entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges which are final. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes.
Names of the winners will be announced in the 'Results' section or the 'News' section on them homepage of www.hellyhansen.com.
Not responsible for faulty, incorrect or mistranscribed phone transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user's ability to participate in the promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the promotion if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the program; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the program as determined by Sponsor/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination, a notice will be posted online and the drawing for all unawarded prizes will be conducted from among all eligible entries received prior to termination. Any damage made to the Web Site will be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like methods of participation will void all such submissions by such methods. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the account holder fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.
I certify that I have the right to distribute these photos and the consent of the person(s) depicted. By submitting your photographs to the Website you assign to Helly Hansen all rights to the Photograph including full ownership and rights to use the Photograph. The assignment does not entitle you to any form of compensation regardless of the extent of any subsequent exploration of the Photograph. The assignment of rights is without time limits place and extent and gives Helly Hansen the right to use the Photograph in whole or in part in all forms and independent of production- and/or dissemination techniques, including but not limited to publish the Photograph on this website and on other websites on the Internet. The assignment also gives Helly Hansen the right to (i) itself or through others, undertake changes in the Photograph, (ii) use the Photograph together with other material including but not limited to, text, pictures and other photographs and (iii) assign and sublicense all its rights to the Photograph to third parties.
You are aware of and accept that the Photograph and your name may be used by Helly Hansen and/or third parties in marketing and/or in connection with other commercial contexts. You warrant that you are the sole creator of the Photograph or through acquisition from third parties dispose of all necessary rights to assign the above rights to the Photograph to Helly Hansen. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Helly Hansen from all third party claims relating to Helly Hansen's use of the Photograph in accordance with this consent.
