Position Summary:
The Accountant is responsible to ensure timely and accurate accounting for Helly Hansen Sweden, Finland and Denmark, according to local standards and HHPPS. This includes month end and year end reporting, and audit. The Accountant is also responsible to ensure timely and accurate reporting of VAT, Intrastat and any other statutory reporting/Statistics.

Mission:
Develop and provide financial and accounting excellence to all internal/external processes and partners in order to secure the profitability of Helly Hansen

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the complete Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss for Sweden, Denmark and Finland according to local standards and HHPPS, incl.:
• Journal entries in a timely and accurate manner, including correct cost calendarization
• Upload/book salary files and payout in a timely manner
• Internal invoicing to other Helly Hansen companies
• Ensure accurate and timely recording, and filing, of incoming invoices
• Follow up on incoming invoice approvals – work with various departments to ensure two way flow of information to ensure accurate reporting of company activities
• Communicate with suppliers as necessary
• Prepare payment proposals for suppliers, and manual payments as necessary
• Post payments
• Execution of month end  closings according to internal and external regulations
• Monthly follow up of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet in M3 and BPC, to ensure correct accounting and reporting in both systems
• Reconciliation of Supplier ledger on a monthly basis
• Reconciliations Balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Reconciliation Inter Company on a monthly basis
• Reconciliation Bank accounts on a monthly basis
• Maintain fixed asset inventory
• Manage depreciations
• Analysis of Actuals vs Budget vs Last Year
- Responsible for VAT reporting for Sweden, Finland and Denmark
- Responsible for Intrastat reporting for Sweden, Finland and Denmark
- Execution of year end activities and closing in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage audits and reviews with external auditors at year end and other requests
- Contribute in continuous improvements of the month end and year end process
- Assist in specific projects according to need and qualifications

Experience:
A blend of formal accounting knowledge and practical accounting experience in various accounting systems.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience from accounting,
• Degree within accounting and/or financial subjects, relevant experience instead of educational process might be considered
• Experience with various accounting systems preferably including Lawson M3

Personal qualities:
Reliable, accurate, self-propelled and proactive with the communication skills to approach and follow-up others outside the accounting department
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Self-propelled with the ability to take initiative when needed
• Reliable, accurate and output oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and take on large workloads at times
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English (written and spoken)

Job Purpose:
Your role will be to optimize our web shops through analysis of our core KPI's, and creating business actions to leverage through our merchandising tools.  You will be responsible for organizing and executing commercial actions to support the Helly Hansen eCom business on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maximize online revenue via web shop merchandising and analysis of business metrics.
• Organize onsite testing to optimize regional content, and consumer promotions.
• Utilize merchandising tools to refine & enhance product presentation and web shop taxonomy.
• Support & manage online promotions and seasonal product launches. 
• Drive interdepartmental collaboration to deliver online content & product offers increasing conversion across all customer profiles.
• Lever web analytics tools to understand customer behavior, and adjust site strategies accordingly.

Preferred Experience:
• Experience running online merchandising tools (Monetate, ATG, Magento) and conducting A/B testing.

• Familiarity with inventory management, retail processes, and pricing.
• Sport & active lifestyle apparel market/industry acumen.
