Helly Hansen is seeking a motivated Customer Operations Representative for our Richmond (Canadian headquarters) office. This is a 9-month contract position, with the possibility of continuing longer and/or becoming a full-time regular employee. S/he will deliver superior service to our customers and support our national sales team, including managing key accounts and ensuring that the order fulfillment process is executed smoothly.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Acknowledge, confirm, enter, process, monitor, and track all orders
Proactively communicate to customers (Dealers and Distributors) and/or Sales Representatives of any issues concerning their orders (product quality, order tracking, availability of product/product delays, shipping/delivery issues, billing, etc.), providing prompt responses and problem-solving to find solutions
Provide frequent order status updates to customers, Sales Reps, and stakeholders
Prepare and present progress reports on order fulfilment execution to senior management
Establish and maintain accurate account details (addresses, discounts, special handling and routing requirements, delivery methods, etc.) in our system
Educate customers on using our online ordering system
Follow up on backorders
Process returns, including warranty claims, for end consumers
Provide product information to customers and identify opportunities to sell/upsell
Substantiate customer chargeback claims 


The successful candidate will have:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as well as fluency in French
Post-secondary education
A minimum of 2 years of customer service/sales experience (phone or retail)
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and databases)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
An enthusiastic, positive attitude and dedication to building strong customer relationships
Knowledge of the Helly Hansen brand and experience in the outdoor apparel industry is preferred

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager

Specific responsibilities will include:
• Assisting the store manager with training of new and existing staff
• Assisting the store manager with all aspects of day-to-day operations, including visual merchandising and marketing initiatives
• Opening and closing the store

Helly Hansen Sport seeks a Freelance Patternmaker to support our Vancouver Design and Development quarters.

Responsibilities will include:
• To support Designers and Developers in the creation of Active Lifestyle products
• Creation of full patters, block patterns, measurement lists for men´s and women´s Outerwear, Midlayers, First layers and bottoms
• Preferably working in Gerber or Lectra
• To take active part in brief meetings, fit sessions to assist developers and designers with fit critiques for proto samples
• To regularly attend such meetings in our Richmond office
• Amend Patterns after fit sessions
• Grading control and feedbacks
• Compare  HH patters against prototypes, preproduction samples or vendor patterns
• Supply paper patterns or possible make toiles
• Optimizing consumption and create mini markers
